One Saturday, Two Coasts: AHRMA Flat Track Hits Perris and Neeses Nov. 7

One Saturday, two coasts, same left turn. On Saturday, November 7, AHRMA's 2026 flat track schedule has two short tracks going at once: the Southern California Flat Track Association at Perris Raceway in Perris, California, and South East Flat Track at Mid Carolina Speedway in Neeses, South Carolina [1]. Perris is a Western Region stop and Neeses is a Southern Region stop [1]. The leaves are down, the Northern ovals have gone quiet, and somewhere a man in a borrowed jacket is already arguing about tire pressure. Pick a coast.

Harpster in the rearview

October 17–18 at Triangle Motorcycle Club in Harpster, Ohio, was the last Northern Region date on AHRMA's 2026 flat track schedule [1]. We previewed it here. As of Oct. 26, AHRMA hasn't posted results for that weekend, so I'm not going to make any up. When the sheet goes up, we'll run the recap.

Perris, California: Hooligan night

AHRMA's flier calls Perris a Western Region points event run with SCFTA and JC Racing Productions, short track, at 1205 Burton Rd. [2]. The promoter lists Nov. 7 as Round 3 of its 2026 Flat Track Points Race Series, with an AHRMA Hooligan Night and the Pete Pistone 2 Stroke Challenge on the card [4]. Round 4, the championship round, is Dec. 5 [4].

JC Racing says Perris has been a pillar of the flat track, MX and off-road crowd since 1954, and that this series brings flat track back to the place after a two-year break [5]. Hooligan night under a Southern California sky. That is not a sentence you get to read every week. If you're anywhere near the Inland Empire, it's the closest thing to church the calendar offers.

Neeses, South Carolina: SEFT at Mid Carolina

On the other coast, AHRMA's flier lists a Southern Region points event run with South East Flat Track, short track, at Mid Carolina Speedway, 995 Henry Rd., Neeses, SC 29107 [3]. SEFT already ran Mid Carolina back on Feb. 7 [1], so this is the return trip. The flier doesn't post times or fees, and SEFT's details live on its Facebook page [1], so check there before you load the trailer.

Two coasts, one Saturday, one left turn.

I don't have an entry list for either track, and I'm not going to invent one. This is the dirt Legends Only Racing lives for: promoters and clubs who keep the gates open so the rest of us can go racing. It's why our race schedule leads with flat track.

Know before you go

  • Perris: Perris Raceway, 1205 Burton Rd., Perris, CA 92570, Pacific Time [2].
  • Neeses: Mid Carolina Speedway, 995 Henry Rd., Neeses, SC 29107, Eastern Time [3].
  • Start times: none of the sources post them. Check with the promoter.
  • Perris fees (promoter): $85 first class, $70 each additional; $75 / $60 for 50cc–85cc classes; $10 AHRMA day fee unless you're a yearly member [4]. AMA membership is required to race the series [4].
  • Perris gate: $20 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 8–12, free for ages 0–7 [4].
  • AHRMA's listed fees: $45 / $35 pre-entry and $50 / $40 race day [1]. These don't match the Perris promoter's prices, so confirm at sign-up.
  • Neeses fees and gate: not posted on the flier [3]. Check SEFT's page [1].
  • Fine print: AHRMA notes its schedule is subject to change [1].

The season doesn't owe you another weekend. It's offering one anyway. Take it, and don't waste it complaining about the drive.
